INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police say a woman was shot and killed on the city's far northeast side late Friday night.
Officers were called to the 4100 block of North Wittfield Street shortly before 10:45 p.m. This is off of 42nd Street and Post Road.
Police say the victim is a woman, 20 to 30 years old. She was found on the back porch suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives were called to investigate. No suspects have been named.
