INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed on the city's east side Wednesday evening.
Officers responded to the 9500 block of East 39th Place to the report of a person shot around 5:15 p.m.
The victim was shot four times and was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Authorities say the man later died at the hospital.
Police have not released the victim's name pending notification of family.
