FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Fishers police officers arrested a Plainfield man suspected of breaking into a home and smashing a safe Tuesday morning.
Jordan Ellis, 24, was arrested and is being charged for burglary, a Class B felony, and theft, a Class D felony, for his alleged involvement in the burglary.
According to a release, the homeowner told police as she returned to her home in the Covington Estates Neighborhood, she heard noises coming from upstairs and called 911.
Following the call, police detained three people of interest in connection to the robbery on Tuesday for questioning. Ellis was one of those people taken in for questioning and was later arrested.
