MARION, Ind. (WISH) - A 22-year-old Marion man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a stabbing at a convenience store on the City of Marion's south side.
Eric Ray Rogers was arrested and preliminarily charged with battery with a deadly weapon.
Police say at 12:26 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the Clark Convenience Store, near 38th Street and Western Avenue, in Marion for a disturbance. When they got there, they did not find a victim or a suspect.
The victim showed up at Marion General Hospital. When police arrived to the hospital, the victim told police that during the disturbance, he was cut multiple time. The suspect fled in a car with another person inside.
The suspect showed up at the Marion Police Department hours later to turn himself in. He was taken to the Grant County Jail.
