INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 39-year-old man is behind bars just hours after police say he shot and killed 19-year-old Dewight Moore early Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened in the 9400 block of East 44th Street. Moore died at the scene. Officers were in the area earlier in the evening on a report of two young women fighting.
Sanders Johnson was interviewed by detectives and subsequently taken to the Arrestee processing Center.
Detectives say the shooting the culmination of a fight between Johnson and Moore.
