INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police are looking for a hit-and-run vehicle that seriously injured a pedestrian and then left the scene.
Officers were called to the intersection of E. Morris and S. Meridian to the report of a hit-and-run accident around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Callers told police a green BMW had hit a man and then continued on Morris St. at a high rate of speed. When officers arrived to the scene they found 46-year-old David Heady suffering from significant injuries, according to a release.
He was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
Investigators are now looking for the 1990s green BMW 3-series that likely has front end damage on the driver's side.
