INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - IMPD is investigating a break-in at the Masjid Al-Fajr in the 2800 block of Cold Spring Road.
Surveillance video captures the suspect walk from room to room. In the video you can see clearly where the suspect tries to rip a flat screen from the walls.
Using a crow bar the suspect also attempts to pry open several safes to get money inside the lock boxes.
Police were able to dust the mosque for finger prints, and although the suspect has not been caught the video shows the suspect's profile.
The footage shows the suspect walking through the mosque with no shoes on.
Because of that fact, members believe the suspect is Muslim and may have been at the Mosque before. In the Muslim religion shoes must be removed in areas where members pray.
"We want some assistance in finding this guy because that's just bold," said David Hackett Security Director at Muslim Community Association.
