MADISON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Authorities in Madison County say two suspects are in custody following a man hunt over the weekend.
The search began Sunday evening after the Harvest Market grocery store on Columbus Ave. in Anderson was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say one suspect was said to have had a handgun.
Following the robbery, three male suspects fled the scene in a silver Ford 500.
While other officers were responding, a car matching the suspect vehicle was seen by police. When attempting to pull the car over, the vehicle fled and later crashed at Madison Avenue and Hartman Road.
The suspects then fled the car and a foot pursuit began.
One suspect, 22-year-old Marquis R. Stephens, was arrested in that pursuit. Stephens and a juvenile suspect were questioned Sunday night.
A third male suspect is currently being sought, police say.
Authorities say the same grocery store was robbed Sunday morning. Investigators are working to determine if both incidents are related.
