ELKHART, Ind. (AP) — Elkhart police report two people have been fatally shot at a convenience store in the northern Indiana city.
Police say they're still working on identifying the victims of the shootings about 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Saleh's Market and aren't disclosing much information.
The Elkhart Truth reports that police are looking for two or more suspects.
Several nearby schools were placed on lockdown for more than an hour after the shootings until police told them they could return to normal operations.
