Bloomington, Ind. (AP) - Indiana State Excise Police cited 81 people, including 78minors, at an underage drinking party near Indiana University'sBloomington campus early Sunday morning.
Officers raided the party after one of the residents sold aplainclothes officer a $5 mixed drink. Excise police say state lawrequires a permit from the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commissionfor the sale of alcoholic beverages.
According to police, more than 100 people were in the home,including many hiding in the garage and basement.
Police say three residents were charged with furnishingalcoholic beverages to a minor. Those cited are to appear in MonroeCircuit Court in February.
