MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say a 3-year-old boy was fatally shot at his family's home in northwestern Indiana.
The shooting happened Sunday in Michigan City at the Terrace Acres Mobile Home Park.
LaPorte County coroner John Sullivan tells WSBT-TV it is likely an accidental shooting, but that investigators were working to determine what happened. The station reports other people were inside the home at the time and that people were being interviewed at the Michigan City police station.
