FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Authorities in Fort Wayne have ruled as accidental the death of a toddler who was struck while family members were rearranging vehicles in their driveway.
The Allen County coroner's office says 1-year-old Collier Holbrook died of blunt-force trauma when he was hit Saturday evening.
The Journal Gazette and WANE-TV report Collier was outside the house southwest of the city's downtown when he became pinned underneath an SUV. He was taken to a hospital but died a short time later.

1:30 P.M. UPDATE: Indiana State Police handled 20 slide-offs in the Bloomington district because of the winter weather, as of 12:30 p.m. Troopers also reported 14 car crashes and 16 cases of helping a motorist.
An Illinois man was killed late Thursday when the car he was driving was struck by a semi tractor on I-70 about three miles west of the Cambridge City exit.
