INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Officials in Kentucky are warning Indiana residents about an Amber Alert issued out of Kentucky with ties in Indiana.
Kentucky State Police officials say 24-year-old Joshua Yaeger took his 2-year-old daughter Jaylynn Maxey. Yeager is her non-custodial parent and police believe she may be in danger.
Maxey and Yeager were last seen in Shepherdsville, Ky. Officials are not sure which direction Yeager is traveling, but he has family in Indiana.
Maxey may be wearing a black and pink tank top with a swirled design, white sandals, and a pink pull-up sweater. She may also be wearing a yellow polka-dot top with white pants that have ruffles. She is described as being about 3'2" and about 37 pounds.
Yeager has several unique tattoos, including a full sleeve on his right arm and a Chinese symbol on the left side of his neck. Yeager is about 6'1" and 185 pounds.
Police say he could be driving a maroon Ford Taurus with New Jersey license plate number VHM20Z.
Anyone who thinks they see Yaeger or Maxey should call 911 immediately.
