BROOKVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Fourteen people were arrested Wednesday after police say they sold counterfeit goods at a Brookville flea market.
Indiana State Excise Police officers also seized thousands of counterfeit items. The police have been investigating items sold at White’s Sale Barn, 6000 block of Holland Road, for the past month.
The investigation discovered more than 12 locations in the market that sound counterfeit DVD’s, shoes, jackets, boots, purses, sunglasses and jerseys when the sellers said they were authentic.
All 14 people, who operated booths selling the counterfeit items, were preliminarily charged with counterfeiting, a Class C felony.

- Sy Abdarahmane, 61
- Kadara S. Dia, 54
- Abou Modi Diallo, 50
UPDATE 10:45 P.M.: Many Indiana State Police dispatches were reporting accidents on major roads due to slick weather conditions Sunday night.
