INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Severe weather continued Halloween evening for all of Central Indiana.
A Tornado Watch was issued for counties south of Indianapolis — including Johnson, Shelby, Rush, Bartholomew, Morgan and Monroe counties — until 2 a.m. For the list of all counties affected, click here for current weather alerts.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Brown County, Lawrence County, Bartholomew County, Jackson County, and Monroe County Thursday night.
The storms caused a number of power outages throughout the area. IPL reported more than 17,000 people without power in some areas. Duke Energy reported nearly 12,000 people without power throughout the state.

The Eagle Creek area saw over 2 inches of rain. Many other areas around the city saw about 1 inch of rain. The heaviest rain totals are from near Vincennes to Indy to Marion.
The biggest threat that we will see from this system is wind. Winds are seeing sustained winds in the 15-25 miles per hour range. Gusts so far have peaked around 40 miles per hour.
The wind caused a number of power lines to fall in the Indy area.
Heavy winds in Clinton caused a roof to collapse on an apartment complex. No one was hurt in the collapse. However, about 96 people were displaced from their home.
