BOONVILLE, Ind. (AP) — Police in southern Indiana say a 15-year-old boy was fatally injured over the weekend when his dirt bike crashed into a car being driven by his mother.
The Warrick County Sheriff's Department says Hunter McDaniel was riding the dirt bike on the family's property in a rural area near the city of Boonville. The teen pronounced dead at an Evansville hospital soon after arriving there after the Saturday crash.
The Evansville Courier & Press reports the crash has been deemed an accident and that Chief Deputy Marvin Heilman said no charges would be filed.
