INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indiana State Fair begins Friday, and the fair reminded people Thursday that its free parking area with shuttle service will continue this year.
Most parking at the Indiana State Fair costs $5. But people looking to save their cash can park at Glendale Town Center's Rural Street lot and take a shuttle to the fair. The shuttles run every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and drop people at the northeast corner of the fair, by the Family Fun Park.
The fair is also offering more expensive reserved parking within the fair. Fairgoers can reserve a spot behind the Public Safety Center for $20 for a specific date. It must be reserved on the fair's website . For $25, people can park at the Old Farmer's Market lot on the east side of Fall Creek Parkway and be escorted via golf cart to Pioneer Village or Main Street within the fairgrounds.
For more information on parking, visit the Indiana State Fair website.
