WASHINGTON, D.C.(AP) - Some airlines are telling passengers new security regulationswill prohibit them from leaving their seats an hour beforelanding.
Air Canada said in a statement Saturday new rules imposed by theTransportation Security Administration will limit on-boardactivities by passengers and crew in U.S. airspace.
The airline said during the final hour of flight passengers mustremain seated. They won't be allowed access to carry-on baggage orto have any items on their laps.
Flight attendants on some domestic flights are informingpassengers of similar rules.
