Carmel-based foundation to sell 107-acre Asherwood estate
CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — The Asherwood estate in Carmel is going up for sale.
The Great American Songbook Foundation announced Thursday that it is laying the groundwork for the sale.
Philanthropist Bren Simon donated the massive 107-acre property to support the foundation’s mission of music education and historic preservation.
The foundation said a major auction will be Nov. 17 and 18.
Auctioned items will include antique furniture, artwork and other personal property.
The foundation said it is seeking proposals about the best way to market and sell the property.
