Indiana attorney general files lawsuit against Purdue Pharma
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Attorney General’s office is filing a lawsuit against opioid giant Purdue Pharma.
AG Curtis Hill says the company misrepresents the risks and benefits of opioids.
The lawsuit claims the misrepresentation has played a key role in the opioid crisis in Indiana.
Hill said there are currently 90,000 Hoosiers battling opioid dependency or addiction.
