Indiana State Police host ‘Trunk or Treat’ event

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Ghosts, ghouls, goblins and even zombies were welcomed to the Indiana State Police Museum Saturday.

Indiana State Police hosted a special “Trunk or Treat” event ahead of Halloween.

Children in costumes were invited to trick-or-treat by visiting with troopers and other law enforcement personnel at their patrol cars. Carnival games and arts and craft activities were set up inside the museum.

“It’s a safe, fun way for the kids to come out and trick-or-treat,” said local mother Angelina Fulfer. “My  husband is going through the police academy right now so he wanted to come out and support them.”

The Indiana State Police Museum works to preserve and present the history of the Indiana State Police.
