Memorial ride to benefit family of Clinton Central student who died in crash

KIRKLIN, Ind. (WISH) — A memorial ride this weekend will raise money for the family of a high school student who died in a car accident this summer.

Jaden Quick was a Clinton Central High School Senior and football player, described as someone who always had a smile on his face.

The Jaden Quick Memorial Ride will take place Saturday. Registration will start at 9:00 a.m. at Clinton Central High School. The ride is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.

It will be $20 per ride and $5 per passenger. The ride will end at the Kirklin American Legion, where there will be a free dinner, 50/50 raffle and door prizes.

Isaac Rudd and band will be playing music from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

All proceeds will go to the Quick Family.

After Quick passed away, his brother wanted to create a scholarship in his name, not only to honor Jaden, but also to give back to the community that his brother says has been so supportive of their family.

The goal of the scholarship is to give $1,000 to a Clinton Central football player every year for as long as they can.

If you’d like to donate money, you can donate to the Jaden Quick Memorial Scholarship fund that has been set up at any The Farmers Bank locations. There is also a GoFundMe page
