New program to teach students about importance of nutrition

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Schools around the state of Indiana will start a new health and wellness program.

It’s part of an effort between Indianapolis-based Anthem and a group called the “Green Bronx Machine.”

Julie Keck with Anthem, and Stephen Ritz, the found of the Green Box Machine, stopped by Daybreak Tuesday.

They discussed the new program and how they believe that healthy students drive healthy schools, which in turns leads to healthy communities.
