Officials identify victim in fatal Avon house fire
AVON, Ind. (WISH) — Officials in Avon have identified the victim of a fatal fire Sunday afternoon.
A fire broke out at the home in the 4800 block of Gibbs Road just before 12:45 p.m. Sunday.
Upon arrival, officials found a deceased male inside of the residence.
The man was identified Tuesday as 84-year-old Earnest Coffman.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
