PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - Police officials say officers fatally shot one of two suspects during a home invasion robbery in Plainfield Tuesday night.
Officials say the incident occurred in the 200 block of Andrews Street in Plainfield. The home is about a half of a mile from the police station.
Police received a call around 9:20 p.m. about two white male suspects trying to enter the home.
Police arrived on scene and witnessed the suspects about to enter the home. Officers saw one of the men raise a gun.
Police say one suspect was shot and killed by police. Officers say another suspect, identified as Justin Pearson, 33, was arrested inside the home. Police say he has been preliminarily charged with robbery.
The family who lives at the home is OK.
