MIDDLETOWN, Ind. (AP) — Two people have died and several others have been injured in a two-car crash at a rural intersection in central Indiana.
Detective Stacey Guffey of the Henry County Sheriff's Department says one male and one female died in the accident Tuesday evening at a rural intersection about 40 miles northeast of Indianapolis.
The Star Press reports as many as four other people also were injured and transported to hospitals in Muncie, Anderson and Indianapolis. The extent of the injuries was not immediately clear.
One car overturned in the crash and both vehicles crashed through a fence into a field.
