INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The much-hyped return of Peyton Manning to Indianapolis for Sunday’s Colts game will mean big business for downtown bars and restaurants.
Tavern on South is hoping to cash in on Peyton's return even more so than on regular game days.
General Manager Martin Gray says he has ordered extra duck wings and other popular items, and extra beer for this Sunday. Normally his place is packed before and after games, but since ticket prices are so high, he expects crowds even during game time.
“I think this one could be the biggest of all just with the hype surrounding the game and people being out all day on Sunday, whether it's on Georgia Street or tailgating or hopefully coming here,” Gray said.
