CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - An Arby’s restaurant in Carmel was robbed by a man with a butcher knife Tuesday night, police officials said.
Employees told Carmel Police they were outside of the Arby’s, 1224 S. Rangeline Road, when a man grabbed one of the workers and forced her into the back of the restaurant. It happened around 10:44 p.m.
Although the man ran from the area, investigators found a stolen 2010 silver Honda Civic nearby that was connected to the robbery.
The man got away with money, though police didn’t say how much. He was described as black, in his 20s, about 6-foot with a slender build. At the time of the robbery he was wearing red mesh shorts, a blue bandana that covered his face and a baseball hat turned backward.
Police asked anyone with information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS or the Carmel Police Department at 571-2511.
