INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Kids Against Hunger of Central Indiana is organizing a food drive that aims to provide a million meals for those in need.
The charity said they expect over 4,000 volunteers to help pack the meals at Lucas Oil Stadium on November 5th for the "Million Meal Marathon."
The Indianapolis Colts are partnering in the event along with a number of other community organizations.
Kids Against Hunger of Central Indiana said the meals will be distributed through Gleaners, Midwest Food Bank, and Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana.

10 A.M. UPDATE: Snow is falling in several counties, particularly south of Indianapolis. Most areas of Central Indiana have seen 2 to 6 inches of snow, with higher totals south of I-70. Counties to the northwest and northeast have seen 1 to 3 inches of snow, with some areas seeing less than an inch.
The Greene County Sheriff's Department says the state Department of Transportation plow truck went off Indiana 45 and flipped onto its passenger side in a crash early Friday.
