INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The 30th Annual Circle City Classic kicks off in Indianapolis Friday, starting two days packed full of events.
One of the biggest events is the parade, which runs from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Organizers expect nearly 100,000 folks to attend.
Another main event is the football game that kicks off Saturday at 3 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium.
This year's match-up is between Grambling State University and Alcorn State University.
Organizers say the main purpose of the event is education. Money raised helps send area students to college.
Over the past 30 years, millions of dollars in scholarships have been awarded.
