INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Anyone heading downtown this weekend is reminded to plan ahead, in the midst of the South Split Project.
INDOT says drivers who may be going downtown, including those heading to Lucas Oil Stadium for the Colts regular season opener, should familiarize themselves with what is closed, and to have a plan.

According to INDOT, while I-65/I-70 is closed between the north and south splits, downtown Indianapolis remains open. The three downtown entrance and exit ramps that are closed are:
- I-65/I-70 at Washington Street
- Calvary/McCarty Street entering northbound I-65 and eastbound I-70
- Southbound I-65 and westbound I-70 exit to East Street
Because of the shutdown, Indianapolis Colts game day traffic will be routed to exit downtown. For more information on those routes, click here.
