INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An Indianapolis Colts player was arrested after police say he tried to run from officers outside a downtown bar.
According to the police report, 23-year-old John Boyett faces preliminary charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting arrest.
Police say Boyett, a safety from Oregon, began yelling after he wasn't allowed into the bar for being too drunk.
Officers say he then ran from them, saying, "you can't arrest me, I'm a Colts player."
He's also accused of telling an officer he would, "break his jaw."
Boyett is listed on the Colts reserve list.
3 P.M. UPDATE: Snow began picking up a little bit in areas west of Indianapolis. Recent snowfall amounts indicate 10 inches in Vincennes, 6 1/2 inches in Martinsville, 7 1/2 inches in Bloomington and 5 inches in Seymour.
