ELWOOD, Ind. (WISH) - Indiana State Police are investigating Elwood Mayor Ron Arnold although details of that case were not revealed during a recent city council meeting, 24-Hour News 8 news partner The Herald Bulletin reports.
The investigation was discovered during the City Council meeting on Monday and Elwood Police Chief Sam Hanna said there is an active investigation. He denied the comment on Tuesday but the meeting minutes show he did confirm the investigation.
City Council members told the newspaper once they know more, they will inform the public.
ISP was not available for comment.
Police dispatchers in Hancock County say two medical helicopters were called to the scene of a crash late Wednesday night.
