NEW PALESTINE, Ind. (WISH) - Firefighters say a husband and wife made it out of their home safely after it caught fire overnight.
Crews say the couple were even able to save their 1967 Camaro, which they have been working to restore.
Fire departments from Indianapolis and Hancock County were called to the home near U.S. 52 and County Road 600 West, near New Palestine, around 3 a.m. Thursday.
Crews say early reports indicated the home was fully engulfed, but they were able to contain the blaze mostly to the garage area.
So far, investigators have not said what may have started the fire.
