GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - A Hancock County Sheriff's Deputy that was injured in a crash in Greenfield Friday afternoon has been released from the hospital.
The Hancock County Sheriff's Department took to Facebook Saturday night, thanking everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
Deputy Jake Lewis and two others were injured in an accident on US 40 at CR 400 E. Authorities say a driver crashed into his vehicle while he was assisting a motorist in the grass median.
Lewis was released from IU Health Methodist Hospital Saturday morning.
