UNION CITY, Ind. (WISH) - A memorial fund has been created after an 8-year-old died during youth baseball practice this week.
Dylan Williams was playing first base while practicing in Union City when a baseball hit him in the neck. He was rushed to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health, where he later died. Dylan's parents donated some of his organs.
The fund is Dylan Williams Always An All Star Foundation. Donations can be sent to Pacesetter Bank, 200 W. Oak St., Union City, IN.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Oswalt Family Funeral Home in Winchester.
Carmel High School took over the Colts Complex for a night.
