HENRY Co., Ind. (WISH) - Interstate 70 eastbound is now open Tuesday morning after it was closed for an hour due to crashes.
Officials say I-70 east at the 123 mile marker, which is near State Road 3 and just south of Newcastle, was closed due a multi-vehicle accident.
I-70 eastbound at the 115 mile marker was also closed due to an accident. Indiana Department of Transportation said all lanes on the interstate near the 115 mile marker are slow due to heavy traffic.
A motorist in the area is reporting black ice conditions and slow moving traffic going west.
Henry County Sheriff's Department handled the accident scene.
