SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Shelby County authorities say a motorcyclist is in serious condition following an accident Saturday night.
The accident happened in the 11500 block of County Road 600 W shortly before 7:30 p.m.
Police say the motorcycle was heading southbound on 600 W when the driver lost control for an unknown reason. The 49-year-old male driver was thrown from the motorcycle.
He was taken by Lifeline to IU Health Methodist Hospital and is listed in serious condition. Police say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
No other information was released Saturday night.
