NEW PALESTINE, Ind. (WISH) - Police officials in New Palestine say a man was struck and killed by a passenger train early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred just east of 600 West in New Palestine on the CSX train tracks.
Officials confirm one man was struck and killed by a passenger train around 1 a.m.. No passengers were injured.
Officials say this is an ongoing investigation. It is not yet clear if the man purposely walked in front of the train.
Local groups are teaming up with Sesame Street and WFYI to help children deal with what they say is a growing problem not only in the US, but right here in Indiana.
