RANDOLPH CO. Ind. (WISH) - Indiana Michigan Power and EDP Renewables North America have partnered up to build a wind farm in Randolph County.
The turbines will be connected to AEP transmission system and will deliver power to I & M customers in Michigan and Indiana.
Under the agreement, I & M will add 200 megawatts of new wind energy, which will bring I & M's total wind power portfolio to 450 megawatts.
The wind farm is expected to begin generating power by the end of next year.
The new wind farm will create 150 full time jobs during construction and more than 20 permanent jobs once the project is completed.
