SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - A Shelbyville man was killed in a single vehicle motorcycle crash Thursday evening.
The crash occurred on I-74 near the 101 mile marker in Shelby County just after 7:30 p.m.
Initial investigation shows that the driver of a motorcycle was speeding and performed a "wheelie" on the interstate. The driver lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a ditch.
He was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead.
That driver was later identified as 35-year-old Jeremy Baatz of Shelbyville.
It has not yet been determined if drugs or alcohol were a factor in this accident.
