CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - Carmel's popular well was reopened Saturday after tests found contamination in the water last month.
The Flowing Well at 116th Street near Gray Road was closed on Sept. 10 after the water tested positive for e-coli and coliform bacteria.
The underground pipe in the well broke and has been replaced. The water was tested twice and the results were negative for the bacteria.
The Boone County Sheriff's Office says a crash closed State Road 39 on Friday morning.
A family of five was uninjured after a house fire on the city's east side early Friday morning.
Police dispatchers in Morgan County say a crash closed both directions of Mann Road on Friday morning.
