INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Marion County Grand Jury has decided to indict a Westfield man arrested for an Aug. 2 Broad Ripple shooting that injured four people. He now faces 12 counts and charges were filed on Friday.
Tristan Crayton faces four counts of battery, a Class C felony; four counts of criminal recklessness, a Class C felony, for shooting a firearm in a place where people are likely to gather creating a potential risk; and four counts of criminal recklessness, a Class D felony, for shooting a firearm creating a risk of bodily injury.
On Aug. 2, police say Crayton shot and injured four people outside of The Vogue. Crayton told police he acted in self defense.
