FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - A new shift in traffic will begin Monday night in Fishers.
The north and east median U-turns at the 96th Street and Allisonville Road intersection will be open for traffic after 7 p.m.
The new traffic change was built to remove long wait time for left turns from west 96th Street to south Allisonville Road and north Allisonville Road to west 96th Street. The new navigation will also improve traffic flow.
If traveling west on 96th Street to go south on Allisonville, turn right onto Allisonville and make a U-turn at the median signal.
If traveling north on Allisonville to go west on 96th Street, turn right onto 96th and make a U-turn at the median signal.
The opening is the second phase of the U-turn openings at the intersection. The last turn scheduled to open in Fishers will be completed in May.
