HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Just before 10 a.m. Sunday, Hamilton County officials recovered the body of a driver missing since early Saturday morning.
The body of David A. Baker, 42, of Arcadia, Indiana, was recovered near 266th Street and Mt. Pleasant Road in northern Hamilton County.
Members of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from a motorist at around 1 a.m. Saturday morning saying his vehicle was sinking in water at 266th Street east of Mt. Pleasant Road.
When officers arrived they heard a yell for help but did not see a person or vehicle.
Water rescue crews later found a truck, but there was no one inside. The owner's dog was found by family members at the scene.
Rescue attempts were called off Saturday due to dangerous conditions.
This is the same location where a man died Friday night.
