CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) - The driver of a motorcycle is dead after a short police chase in Carmel Sunday morning.
Officials say a Carmel police officer attempted to stop a motorcycle that was traveling east on 116th Street. According to police, the motorcycle sped up and crashed near the intersection of 116th and River Road.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as 23-year-old Travis Goddard of Fishers.
This crash is still under investigation.
