HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - An Indiana State Police officer was struck on Interstate 69 in Hamilton County Wednesday night.
Dispatchers say the officer was struck in the northbound lanes at the 204 mile marker on the interstate. This is north of 96th Street.
Police say the officer was awake and talking. Medics and additional officers arrived to the scene. The officer was not transported to the hospital.
State Police say the vehicle that struck the officer remained on scene.
