INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Metropolitan police officers were looking for a person who they say stabbed a man and woman early Tuesday morning.
A police report says the suspect is described as a black male around 40 years of age. He was described as having a goatee wearing a red T-shirt, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap and white tennis shoes.
Police responded to East 10th Street and North Temple Avenue around 5 a.m. Tuesday for an assault with a knife. That's on the city's east side.
Police found two people, a man and a woman, with stab wounds. The woman was stabbed in the left abdomen and the man was stabbed in the neck. Both were taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital. Their condition was not immediately released.
