SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - An Indianapolis man was sentenced to 55 years Wednesday for drug charges.
Steve Boyd was found guilty by a Shelby County jury of dealing cocaine, manufacturing cocaine and resisting law enforcement on July 31.
Boyd indicated to court officials that he was going to appeal the case.
Police arrested Boyd and two others – Courtney Cunningham and Joshua Nelson - on June 10, 2011 after he lead a drug deal in the Bel-Aire Shopping Center parking lot in Shelbyville.
All three led police on a short chase.
