DELAWARE CO., Ind. (WISH) - Indiana State Police says one person died after a semi caught fire at a Delaware County rest area Wednesday morning.
An ISP trooper saw the semi on fire as he was driving by the 250 mile marker of Interstate 69 south around 5:45 a.m. The truck was parked at the rest area when it caught fire.
Baljinder Dhami, 30, of Brampton, Ontario, was found in the truck after the fire was put out. Police say he was sleeping in truck when it caught fire.
The rest area was closed Wednesday morning.
The semi truck was a total loss. The truck was loaded with food.

UPDATE 10:45 P.M.: Many Indiana State Police dispatches were reporting accidents on major roads due to slick weather conditions Sunday night.
